This theme comes up over and over again in our lives. I planted my baby Ginkgo tree today. I have been watching it grow from a seedling for over five years now on my kitchen counter. There it felt safe and under my watchful eye. Now it is outdoors with Mother Nature. I found just the right spot for it in our country yard. I guess it has been like plant therapy for me. Not unlike my art therapy. Gary made a nice cage for it.
We go through so many changes and transitions in our lives. For me…my oldest son Chris is getting married in September and my son Gordon just got engaged. So exciting!
Now my tree, like my boys are out on their own in this world. Living and loving life at its best.
I hope it grows up healthy and strong.
